Эта цитата, кстати, говорит внимательному читателю не только о запасах, но и о слабости и неразвитости продовольственного рынка, товарного производства в тот период. Проще говоря, на базар каждый день тогда не ходили. Нормой в зажиточном доме считался запас продуктов на полгода-год.
